TUITION AND FEES
Tuition is $65 for 60-minute lessons, $55 for 45-minute weekly lessons, and $45 for 30-minute weekly lessons. Payment is due at the beginning of each month for lessons scheduled during that month. Invoices will be emailed and may be paid 3 ways: by check, online (by clicking on a link within the invoice), or with cash.
There is a $80 studio administration fee due in August. This fee helps cover the costs of purchasing music, scheduling rehearsals, contacting accompanists, etc. The spring recital fee is determined by totaling the cost of the venue and the pianist and dividing by the number of students participating.
VIRTUAL LESSONS
Lessons for students not local to Northern Virginia or unable to meet in person are available thru Skype or Google Hangouts. Standard tuition rates, studio administration fees and cancellation policies apply.
COLLEGE PREP
Preparing for college auditions can be highly stressful and demands a number of different requirements. I offer one on one college prep courses for students that help guide them through picking the best material for their audition and/or pre-screen reel. Students are not required to be a regularly schedule member of my studio. Standard tuition rates apply to each session.
The rate for a fully filmed and edited pre-screen reel is $50 per video file.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I require 24 hours' notice for canceled lessons. Students who cancel with a minimum of 24 hours' notice will receive a make-up lesson credit that expires 30 days from the date of the lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24-hour notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. A student who decides to leave the studio will not receive a refund for any remaining lessons scheduled that month. The studio administration fee is nonrefundable.
RECITALS AND CABARETS
Recitals and cabarets provide opportunities for students to practice performing, by memorizing scenes and songs to sing for each other. Dates are posted on the web site calendar. All students are invited to perform at the recital, which is held at a separate location.
PHOTOS
I often post photos and videos of recitals and studio events on my website, instagram or Facebook page. If you object to having your name or image published, please let me know.
PARKING
When parking your car, please park in a labeled visitors spot or on the street.
